First Sugar Shipment Left our Shores in August
Approximately 30,000 metric tons (MT) of Sugar left our shores in the Month of August 2011. On 5th of August 2011, 6,100 MT of Sugar was loaded on Vessel MV Stella Gemma at Malau in Labasa. The balance of 23,900 MT was then loaded in Lautoka and same departed for UK on 14th Aug 2011.
