EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT GROUP- MOVEMENT CIRCULAR
You would all be aware that as part of its process restructuring its operations to be more production driven, the Board in January this year had placed advertisements for its senior management team. This was with the aim of transforming the organization and at the same time meeting the joint objectives of the Fiji Government and the Cane Industry.
To better reflect its focus of being more production drive, the title of Mill Manager is now retitiled Production Manager.
A firm of consultants, Maxumise (Fiji) Limited carried out the interviews and recruitment process and arising out of this the following appointments have been made effective from 1 July 2011:
Mr Mikaele V Blukoto (1024), Mill Manager, Lautoka Mill to Production Manager, Lautoka Mill.
Mr Karlamakin A Christoper (1045), Mill Manager, Labasa Mill to Production Manager, Labasa Mill
Mr Sailasa Waitawa (1051), Mill Manager, Penang Mill to Production Manager, Penang Mill
Mr Villiame Savou (1672), Mill Manager, Rarawai Mill (Acting) to Production Manager, Rarawai Mill (Acting).
Mr Ali Ubadutt (1140), General Manager- Finance to Chief Financial Officer.
Mr Timoci Q Lagai (1174), General Manager- Corporate/Admin to Human Resource Manager.
Mrs Rajneesh Charan (1036), Manager Information Systems to Manager Information.
Other appointments made effective from 1 August 2011 are as follows:
Mr Thomas Peters (1082), Chief Engineer-FSC to Manager Engineering.
Mr Seru Vularika (972), General Manager-Field Services, to Manager Relationships.
Mr Phulpursad (Dan) Boodhna has been seconded by Tate &Lyle to assist both the miller and growers in good farm husbandry practices and extension services. He is an Agronomist by profession. Mr Boodhna’s main objective for the next two years is to increase our cane yield through better farm practice, cane variety implementation and knowledge through transfer to growers and Corporation staff.
